During her education at Department of Sociology at Galatasaray University, Duygu Fendal, volunteered in numerous projects that focus on children’s education in various regions of Turkey. She focused on development policies and impacts of international organizations in the aspect of development during her graduate program which is Political Science & Public Administration. After her experience at UNDP, she worked at TEGV Istanbul Foundation Center as Volunteer Coordination Specialist for 2.5 year. Since 2013, he has been working as the Program Coordinator at IBC, mainly in the field of emergency response, health, education and social cohesion for refugees and manage projects and international funding sources regarding Syrian Crisis for both in Turkey and abroad. Within the scope of the Qudra Program, as the director of the Children's Caravan and Youth Development Center projects where social cohesion based trainings are provided, she provides general coordination with other stakeholders on behalf of IBC. In addition to her professional work for 10 years in the fields of migration, social cohesion, education and development, he has been one of the founding members of the National Volunteering Committee and she continues to support the studies on volunteerism and social sensitivity.
