I started my carreer in this sector by working as a volunteer at Civic Education Volunteers Foundation of Turkey (TEGV). I worked there as a Psychologist and Project Coordinator for 5 years.
In 2014, I participated in the Medical Assistance and Psycho-Social Support Project for Syrian Refugees, which was established by the International Blue Crescent Relief and and Development Foundation in Kilis.
In Kilis Community Center Project, in order to improve and strengthen the lives of Syrian refugees and at the same time to increase social cohesion with the host community; I provided general coordination on behalf of IBC with other stakeholders as the head of many projects such as Turkish courses, skills development courses, vocational training, providing psychosocial support, legal support, case management, interpreting, mobile training trailer.
For people trying to survive in disadvantaged areas, I believe that small changes will make a big difference and that love and peace are still the greatest power for all people.
