INTERNATIONAL BLUE CRESCENT(IBC) RESPONDS TO THE NEEDS OF MORE AFRICAN COUNTRIES AS LIBYA, TCHAD, BURKINA FASO, NIGER AND BURUNDI


IBC-International Blue Crescent is intensifying its campaigns to respond the needs of more African countries after Somalia and Mali.

Priority is given to the Covid 19 and general health needs of civil war shattered Libya. IBC International Blue Crescent will provide medical assistance to 26 emergency response centers dealing with Covid 19 response in both sides of the Country.In addition four corona test centers will be established in areas that Tripoli goverment will request.

IBC Mauritius has started the Project for water wells and wheel chairs fort he handicapped in Burundi.In the framework of the Project 100 water wells will be constructed and wheel chairs for 500 handicapped people will be distributed to the needy people. The Project started and scores of water wells have already activted in Burundi.

In Chad and Burkina Faso 1000 families in each Country will get monthluy food parcles to cover their basic nutritional needs.In Tchad we ll focus in Bongor region where refugee influx is imminent

In Burkina Faso the IDP’ s settlements around capital Ouagadougou will benefit from the food campaign.

In the framework of the new campaign 20 villages in Niger will benefit by constructing and activating water wells fort he water and sanitation needs of the people in need as well as for agricultural purposes. Moto-pums will be distributed for agricultural use too

IBC recently launched a food campaign fort he flood victims in Sudan and now focuses on the shelter and livelihood sector in Sudan.
