IBC SANCAKTEPE AND ESENYURT INFOHUBS CONTINUE TO PROVIDE SOLUTIONS FOR BENEFICIARIES


Since May 2017, International Blue Crescent Relief and Development Foundation has been providing consultancy services to vulnerable refugee groups and supporting them in accessing basic social services. These reliefs are being carried out with the support of the World Vision partnership and the European Union Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations (ECHO) Fund.

IBC provides services such as legal and psychosocial support, individual protection support, awareness-raising activities and referral to local institutions. These services also include taking care of women, children and disabled citizens through Psychosocial Support and Information Centers in Esenyurt and Sancaktepe, where the refugee population is the highest in Istanbul. The centers continue their services contributing to the field of refugee protection in accordance with the preventive measures within the scope of COVID-19 regulations affecting the whole world.

 

 

Services of IBC Infohubs

Case Counseling

After determining the issues of the beneficiaries in counseling sessions, they are directed to the relevant public institutions and / or the psychological counseling unit or legal counseling unit.

Psychosocial Support

Individual counseling and group sessions are held for families, children, women and men. Since 2020, the sessions are held online due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Information and Awareness Raising Sessions

While informing about the needs of child protection, family unity, social cohesion and fundamental rights, when necessary, access to services provided by public institutions is also provided.

Legal Consultancy

Awareness sessions on legal issues are organized individually or as a group for the clients. Support is provided on residence, work permit, family law (marriage, birth registration, etc.), and basic information is provided to enable clients to carry out judicial processes.
