HIPPOTHERAPY ACTIVITY FOR TURKISH AND SYRIAN CHILDREN IN GAZIANTEP

As part of IBC- Bridge project, Turkish and Syrian children attended hippotherapy activity is often carried out for the rehabilitation of children with the valuable partnership with IOM funded by BPRM. Activity held in Gaziantep Riding Center with sixty children. Horse riding was enjoyable for children apart from psychological discharge. Children learned also the responsibility of caring for an animal with the respect. One of the beneficiaries expressed her felling with the lovely sentences;

My name is Bushra Anber. I am 9 years old. The horse riding activity was like a dream which came true for me because it is the first time in my life I see a horse in reality and ride it. Also, the horse was very kind and lovely though it was so big.
