In order to raise the future generations with high environmental awareness and for a green Turkey, a planting Campaign of “Be Breath for Future” was implemented in 81 province of Turkey simultaneously on 11/11/2019 at 11:11 Hours. The campaign was started off in Ankara.
In the campaign that was implemented in collaboration with the Ministry of Forests and Agriculture, the International Blue Crescent Relief and Development Foundation procured one sapling for each employee in Kilis IBC CC (community center).
The activity, which aimed at leaving a green Turkey for the future generations and raising generations with high environmental awareness and love for nature, was implemented in Gül Baba village, right on the borders with Syria with assistance of Kilis IBC CC beneficiaries who helped in planting and watering the saplings and shared the happiness of completing another successful IBC activity.
Polateli Governor Mahmut Sener, Chairman of the Provincial Assembly Mehmet Metin Karakuş, Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry Songül Kadıoğlu, Provincial Director of Education Muhammet Şahinkaya also took part in the campaign. After providing information on sapling planting techniques, the participating non-governmental organizations and members of the protocol planted the saplings.
