IBC CONTINUES TO BE HOPE FOR YEMEN

International Blue Crescent Relief and Development Foundation, which implements several Emergency Relief Projects for Yemen since 2018, continues its activities during Ramadan.

Food packages consisting of wheat, rice, lentils, chickpeas, fava, pasta, tomato paste, sugar and salt were distributed during Ramadan for vulnerable families who are living in the city of Aden and El-Mukelle. In addition, antiseptic hygiene materials were distributed for the fight against Covid-19.

While International Blue Crescent Foundation reached approximately 145 thousand people in Yemen last year, it enabled 20 thousand Yemenis to access clean water by constructing 16 water wells. At the same time, IBC delivered a fully equipped ambulance to Mukalla city of Yemen to meet basic health services which is coming to a halt in the region. In 2020, International Blue Crescent is accelerating its efforts to solve the shelter problem of families suffering from war.
