IBC RESPONDS TO NEEDS OF FLOOD VICTIMS IN SUDAN


International Blue Crescent IBC responds to the needs of Flood victims in Sudan Khartoum state by providing emergency food,tents,tarpaulins and mosquito kits.

As first step 2000 monthly food parcels will be distributed in Khartoum and Omdurman to the IDP s seek refugee in capital from South Sudan.

IBC cooperates with Sudan authorities fort he reconstruction of two villages 43 km far from Khartoum Aljadeed and Althora as well as campaigns for flood prevention projects

Floods in Sudan left more that 100000 people homeless.94 people died and the material lost as crops,livestock etc is around 1.6 billion USD

The country is facing its worst disaster in 100 years.
