IBC CONTINUES HUMANITARIAN RELIEF EFFORTS FOR BURKINA FASO


International Blue Crescent continues to provide humanitarian relief to crisis areas around the world. IBC distributed 200 food kits in Burkina Faso, a West African country struggling with the food crisis, in collaboration with IDRF. The food kits were distributed in the Arbollé region in north of  Burkina Faso. The beneficiaries stated that poverty and terrorist attacks that have increased in recent years are making life here more and more difficult.

Burkina Faso is one of the regions where the hunger crisis is most intense. According to current data, people in Burkina Faso, where 300 thousand people have been displaced and 500 thousand people are in need of assistance due to the security problem, people need continuity in humanitarian relief services while fighting COVID-19.
