OPEN LETTER FROM THE WORLD'S MOST IMPORTANT NGOS, INCLUDING THE INTERNATIONAL BLUE CRESCENT FOUNDATION, TO PREVENT FAMINE


“There is no place for famine and starvation in the 21st century. History will judge us all by the actions we take today.”

The world's leading NGOS, including the IBC, published an open letter to prevent hunger and famine. In the letter;  It was emphasized that the UN Secretary-General's Global Ceasefire Call should be taken into consideration while calling for an emergency action for 270 million people struggling with hunger in the world.

Signatory NGOs in the letter; "To meet the growing needs of the COVID-19 process, to adapt to climate change sustainably, and to help people build a stronger future for themselves, humanitarian relief works must be facilitated, barriers must be removed.”

Non-governmental organizations working to deliver aid to the world's most disadvantaged societies and witnessing the human tragedy every day: "It is necessary to act now with the cooperation of decision mechanisms without losing hopes. The time is now." said.
