INTERNATIONAL BLUE CRESCENT FOUNDATION ACCELERATES RELIEF FOR SAHEL AFRICA

More than 100 million people in Africa are facing the problem of hunger, which has been described as "catastrophic".

The balance sheet of the humanitarian crisis, which is experienced with conflicts, climate changes, and economic crises, is increasing day by day.

In this context, International Blue Crescent Foundation (IBC) accelerated its work on the food and health crisis deepened by the COVID-19 outbreak in Burkina Faso, Chad, and Niger.

In the past weeks, food aid was provided to 800 families struggling to survive in the region with the cooperation of IDRF, and the construction of the water wells for access to clean water was completed.

As the International Blue Crescent Foundation Cross-Border team completes its preparations for the upcoming Eid-al-Adha, it continues to analyze the needs of the region and accelerate its projects specially to extend a helping hand to approximately 1000 families.
