FROM IBC TO THE SYRIAN BORDER REGIONS LARGE MEDICAL SUPPLY SUPPORT


With the crisis in Syria and the intensification of its consequences, the living conditions in the border camps are getting harder and harder.

Turkish Ministry of Health; supplies clinics, ambulances, medicines, and medical supplies to many hospitals in the Azaz and Euphrates Shield Region. However, with severe winter conditions and the augment of COVID-19 cases, medical needs are increasing day by day.

IBC has expanded its humanitarian relief activities, which it has been carrying out at the zero point of the Turkey-Syria border for more than 10 years, with the arrival of the winter season.

With the support of Action Medeor, IBC Cross-Border Relief Team provided medical supplies to 8 hospitals serving approximately 1,200 people in the region.

Medicines and medical materials were delivered to Vatan, Çobanbey, Marea, Al-Amal, Waseem Moaz, Ahtarin, Azez Gynecology and Obstetrics Hospital, Soran Obstetrics, and Gynecology Hospital with trucks.

Distributions; While being completed under the coordination of the Turkish Ministry of Health, Red Crescent, and local governments, it makes significant contributions to the treatment of those in need in the region.
