15 TON MEDICAL MATERIALS REACHED YEMEN WITH THE SUPPORT OF IBC


In cooperation with IBC and the German health aid organization Action Medeor, 15 tons of medical supplies reached the port of Mukalla in Hadramud province of Yemen.

IBC / Yemen team met with representatives of the Yemeni Ministry of Health to distribute medical supplies in containers to hospitals and clinics.

IBC, which is officially accredited in Yemen and has been continuing its relief activities uninterruptedly since 2019, provided 15 tons of medicine and medical consumables to Yemen.

IBC Vice President Muzaffer Baca pointed out that the humanitarian crisis in Yemen has been completely forgotten recently, and said, “The humanitarian crisis in Yemen, which affected nearly 20 million people, has been completely disappeared from the international public agenda. However, basic needs such as food and medical supplies are very inadequate in Yemen. In this context, IBC together with the Yemen Ministry of Health continues to work on providing the necessary medical support to hospitals and clinics and training to improve the capacity of nurses. We will continue to stand by the people of Yemen, who cannot even reach their basic living standards. '' said.
