IBC to provide relief to innocent civilians damaged by war. Initially, it established an office and a warehouse in the Autonomous Unit of (ATU) Gagauzia, responding to the needs of Ukrainian refugees in South Moldova. It expanded its emergency relief efforts in a couple of months through the southern border to Odesa Oblast, from Bolhrad being the entry point of aid exported from Turkey up to Mykolaiv and reaching Kherson.
Over the past period, IBC has continued supporting basic humanitarian needs and relief under many headings, such as health, food security, shelter, non-food items, water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH). The Foundation continues its work to meet the needs in the field actively.
While the Ukrainian people, who lost their families, homes, and spouses, were trying to heal their wounds, they started the day with a massive bombardment in the Korabelny region of Mykolaiv city on February 7. The Russian Federation bombarded civilians with drones (Shaheds) and ballistic missiles. In the morning, the severe consequences of the attack were seen more clearly. After the bombardment, large holes appeared on the roads. Some houses were severely damaged and became uninhabitable, while the roofs of some homes were blown off, and their windows were broken.

IBC, which continues its activities in the region, started distributing hot soup and bread with its donor Action Medeor within 2 hours after being contacted by the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) on the day of the attack.

Due to the bombardment throughout the district, innocent civilians are currently experiencing deep water, gas, and shelter problems. Unfortunately, the needs are greater now than ever before. For this reason, IBC will continue its relief to the region.
