As IBC, we planted a new sapling of hope in the north of Syria, where the earthquake left deep wounds. With our Blue Crescent Village project, we aim to provide a warm home for 100 families. Our village, which we started construction at the beginning of July, will be completed in a short period of 7 months in cooperation with IDRF Canada.
Why Blue Crescent Village?
Because we know that one of the most basic needs of families affected by earthquakes is shelter. And we not only meet this need, but also offer them the opportunity to make a new start. We build a home not only between four walls, but also in hearts.
What is in our village?
Blue Crescent Village is being built in Aleppo?
We are implementing our project in the Ahterin region of Azaz district in the north of Aleppo. This region is one of the most affected by the earthquake. In addition to the public services that already exist in the region, such as a school, health center, mosque and water tank, we will also contribute to the social and economic structure of the region with our village.
Who do we cooperate with?
In this project, which we are organizing in cooperation with Kilis Governorship, AFAD regional coordinatorship and Ahterin Local Council, we aim to meet the needs of the local community in the best way possible.
Why so fast?
We are working to complete the project as soon as possible, taking into account the urgent need for shelter for earthquake victims. Our teams are working meticulously, using the highest quality materials. Within 30 days, our sample apartment will be ready and soon after, the keys to all residences will be handed over to their owners.
Mavi Hilal Village is not just a project, it is a hope!
This project is not only a construction work, but also a work that gives people hope. Seeing the smiles on the faces of the families affected by the earthquake will be the biggest reward for us.
