NATIONAL SOVEREIGNTY AND CHILDREN'S DAY


The International Blue Crescent Relief and Development Foundation (IBC) celebrated the April 23rd National Sovereignty and Children's Day at the IBC Kilis Community Center on April 23, 2017.

Turkish and Syrian children living in Kilis in the framework of the celebration had the chance to meet and get together. A total of 100 Syrian and Turkish children attended the event. Competitions were held between the children at the celebration. In addition, poetry reading was done for the meaning and significance of the day. Songs were sung all together. As a result of the contests, handbags were presented as gift to the students. Also kite was distributed to all children in memory of the day.

As a result of the activity, Turkish and Syrian children were photographed all together, happy to live their own holidays.
