WOMEN'S DAY

The International Blue Crescent Humanitarian Aid Foundation (IBC) celebrated International Women's Day (March 8th) on March 12th, 2016 at the "Kilis Park Wedding Hall".

Within the framework of the celebrations, Turkish and Syrian women living in Kilis came together and found the opportunity to meet each other. Approximately 300 Syrian and Turkish women attended the event. In addition, a small exhibition by the International Blue Crescent team was showcased to the ladiesş. The event included a dance show performed by children attending IBC Child Friendly Spaces. At the exhibition handcrafts such as recycled artworks, paintings, paintings on glass, accessories and handmade carpets were displayed.

Bracelets were given to women as gifts. As a result, Turkish and Syrian women found the opportunity to socialize. They also took photographs together. In general, positive feedback was received about the show and the event as a whole. Most participants expressed their happiness about being part of such an organization.
