HANDICRAFT AND PAINTING EXHIBITION IN KILIS COMMUNITY CENTRE


The IBC Kilis Community Center welcomed more than 200 visitor with a handicraft and painting exhibition.

The Centre established by International Blue Crescent Relief and Development Foundation with Malteser cooperation operates more than one year in Kilis city centre. By the educational and psychosocial support sevices, Community Centre aims to support Syrians to ensure their participation in social life. Various kinds of courses and activities such as language, computer and hobby courses and outdoor activities assist integration of Syrians, finding new jobs and help to reduce pains of war memories.

During the event handicrafts, paintings, caricatures, sketch drawings were exhibited which all are made in the Community Centre courses. Music class presented small concert and the visitors enjoyed cookies made by Cooking Class students.

International Medical Cops, Catholic Relief Servicas, Medecins Sans Frontieres International, Mercy Corps, Relief International, Start International and Organization of Islamic Cooperation were some of the International NGOs visited the Community Centre exhibition.
