GERMAN MINISTER VISIT TO KILIS COMMUNITY CENTRE


German Minister of Economic Cooperation and Development Mr. Gerd Müller visited community centre locates in Kilis city centre. The centre founded by International Blue Crescent Relief And Development Foundation provides psychosocial support and training for Syrian refugees in Kilis.

German Minister of Economic Cooperation and Development Mr. Gerd Müller and the accompanying delegation firstly visited Kilis Governor Mr. Süleyman Tapsız in his office and obtained information about Syrian refugees living in the Kilis province.

After the meeting, Minister Gerd Müller and the accompanying delegation visited the centre which was established by International Blue Crescent Relief And Development Foundation in cooperation with Malteser International and which is also have been serving for more than 1 year.

IBC Vise President Mr. Muzaffer Baca represented International Blue Crescent Relief And Development Foundation during the visit. Vise President of IBC Mr. Muzaffer Baca and Program Manager of MI Mrs. Janine Lietmeyer shared information about the community centre with the delegation.

At the end of the visit, Minister Gerd Müller made a statement as “I am here because this is an excellent institution who can learn, train and Germany, the Malteser Organisation, supporting in order for you to be able to continue this.”IBC Vise President Mr. Muzaffer Baca thanked to Malteser as “They need to have a future, the refugees, after the war. They need to have some prospects for future and the country needs peace. We pin our hopes on young people; they can brig peace and better future. I would like to thank Malteser International very much for their very commititative and very good work here.”
