WINTERIZATION PACKAGES DISTRIBUTED TO SYRIAN REFUGEES IN SURUC TURKEY


International Blue Crescent Relief and Development Foundation provided the basic winter needs for 4875 Syrian refugees forced to flee from Syria due to civil war with the support of International Rescue Committe (IRC). Distribution is held in Urfa Suruç and totally 8000 winterization packages and materials were distributed to Syrian families in need.

Within the fourth year of Syrian civil war, Syrian refugees struggling to get ready for winter conditions in Turkey. Most of Syrian refugees struggle to survive in refugee camps or houses for rent.

Within the scope of the project International Blue Crescent Relief and Development Foundation (IBC) and International Reccue Committe (IRC) teams firstly identified 4875 Syrian families need emergen cy relief. Each family registered according to their number of members.

Winterizarion packeges delievered to registered families with provision of signature in supervision with Syrian Refugees neighborhood committee directors. Winter kits composed of coat, sock, beret, weft and children blanket for children and also jacket, blanket, sock, beret, weft for adults.
