CASH GRANTS FOR SYRIAN REFUGESS IN KILIS MORE THAN 2000 SYRIAN CHILDREN GOT WINTER CLOTHES IN DECEMBER


International Blue Crescent Relief and Development Foundation (IBC) intensified its support to Syrian refugees leaving in rented houses and with host families in border province of Turkey Kilis.

Through funding provided by CRS ,International Blue Crescent organised the distribution of cash grants to most vulnerable Syrian families in Kilis,identified through a screening in cooperation with the Governorship of Kilis.2000 Syrian families got cash grants in a period that they were running from basic needs as food,medicine and their financial capacity extinquished.The campaign helped them to settle their problems for a month at least.  

n  cooparation with Kilis Governosrship, 25 district where the refugees in need live  was screened and the beneficiaries are selected  according to the most vulnerability critieria

Refugees told that the Refugee Response Plan led by IBC relieve their life under difficult conditions.

IBC Syria Project  co-ordinator,  Aziz Civelek, made the following statement focusing on the campaign.

 We are very proud of starting a new project to help to displaced syrian in Kilis province. And  almost two thousands  winter boots and winter coats was distributed to the Syrian children living in Kilis with their  family under difficult conditions. In addition thousands of blankets  distribeted as an effort to cover winter needs of the families.New projects will be undergoing.

In addition to cahs grants more than 2000 Syrian refugee children got winter clothes through IBC campaign funded by Malteser International in December.

Almost all children assigned to the school established by Kilis Municipality now are provided with winter needs and they feel warm and happy with.
