INTERNATIONAL BLUE CRESCENT PARTICIPATED TO UN OCHA REGIONAL NETWORKING MEETING IN CAIRO HELD ON 5-6 DECEMBER 2012


International Blue Crescent as an active regional NGO in the Middle East has participated to UN OCHA Regional  Netwroking Meeting organised in Cairo on 5-6 December 2012.

The meeting was focused on sharing experiences from the field and develope common practices on monitoring and reporting.

NGO s active in the region transferred their knowledge to each other based on the difficulties they are facing and ways of solutions to overcome such difficulties.

Special focus is given to Syria complex crisis and ways to formulate a general common response to the needs in country for the Internally Displaced Persons and out of country for the refugees in Jordan,Turkey and Lebanon.

 

 

International Blue Crescent(IBC) is represented by its Ex-COM member Mr Aziz Civelek responsible for the operations focusing on response to the needs of the Syrians.

 

 

Mr Civelek had the opportunity to look for new partnerships and networking  IBC activities with UN organizations in the field.

 

 

UNHCR, WFP, WHO, Qatar Charity, Save The Children and other prominent international organizations and NGO s  were among the participants.
