INTERNATIONAL BLUE CRESCENT RESPONSE TO SYRIAN REFUGEES AND IDP S NEEDS ACCELERATING


International Blue Crescent has launched two campaigns to respond the needs of 1000 IDP families inside Syria and 1000 refugee families in refugee camps in Turkey.
 
Main response to IDP families needs are focused on start up kits, hygiene and food packages and the Project is ongoing in damasucs and Aleppo.
 
On the other hand since March 2011, International Blue Crescent responds to the needs of refugee families fled to Turkey and accomodated in camps in Hatay province and Gaziantep Kilis container camp.
 
Since last year thousands of food packages,baby food and milk and hygiene packages have been submitted to the needs of the refugees through Turkish authorities and Turkish red Crescent.
 
The number of the refugees in Turkey exceeded 30000, most of them accomodated (14000) in Kilis container camp where 2000 containers erected, 65 kilometers far  from Gaziantep city.
 
Recently IBC provided 1000 hygiene packages to the needs of the refugees in the container camp.The packages contain 2 baby drappers, 2 tissues, two hygienic pads, one baby ped, one baby soap an done baby shampoo delivered and submitted to the TRC Warehouse in Kilis and then distributed under IBC supervision to the families in need.
IBC continues its campaign for both groupd, IDP s inside Syria and refugees in Turkey and is campaigning for the Ramadan time to provide them with daily ready to eat meals and milk.
