STUDENTS LIVE HISTORY WITH 'BLUE CRESCENT'


International Blue Crescent Relief and Development Foundation organized an excursion for Fatih Kız Anadolu İmam Hatip High School students in order to explore Istanbul Archeology Museum located in Istanbul's Sultanahmet. There were 25 female students, 2 teachers and IBC Social Cohesion Team staffs Gökhan Fidan, İrem Tok and Raif Savvas.

The excursion was started with the Museum of Ancient Oriental Works made up of prehistoric, Egyptian and Arabian Peninsula works of Anatolia and Mesopotamia belonging to the pre-Islamic eras. Pre-Islamic Arabia Works, Egypt Works, Mesopotamian Works, Anatolian Works, Urartu Works and Nail Written Documents sections were visited and then the Archeology Museum, which is the section where many works and world famous sarcophagi took place from the Archaic Period to the Roman Period. After reviewing the works in the last section, open space, group photographs are taken and the museum tour is over.

 After the tour of the museum, group visited Fatih Municipality Cankurtaran Social Facilities Restaurant to have lunch all together and evaluation of the event was realized afterwards. The event which took five and a half hours ended with a mutual thanks.
