CHILDREN SHOWED OFF ARTISTIC SKILLS

An art workshop for children was organized within the scope of the Blue Crescent Foundation Children's Caravan and Sultanbeyli Community Center projects. With the trip to Atölye20 Art Gallery, the children had the opportunity to participate in different art workshops as divided groups. With 30 children and their teachers, they learned to do both hand-craft work and spent a wonderful weekend with their peers.

The workshops, which were applied in groups according to age ranges, each had a different content. In the same way, material suitable for the subject was made available for the participants' own works. The handicrafts and artistic perspectives of children have been developed through the training given by the artists in their field. As a result of the workshops that were realized as Musical Instrument Making by Wood, Linol Printing and Clay Sculpture Production, each child showed up their skills by their artwork. The combination of children's joy and the creativity of art has been a tremendous step in the development of children's productivity and mental wellbeing.

The children who created their own works at the end of the two-and-a-half-hour workshop left the workshop with the joy of discovering their artistic aspects. The event ended with a souvenir photo taken with Art Gallery Staff and International Blue Crescent projects staff.
