IBC LAUNCHED A CAMPAIGN FOR THE EMERGENCY NEEDS OF YEMEN PEOPLE IN HODAIDAH


IBC-International Blue Crescent has launched an emergency response campaign fort he needs of around 10000 IDP s fled from the fighting intensified in Hodaidah region of Yemen In the framework food campaign for 2000 families started in cooperation with Yemen Red Crescent and officials for the families fled to safe regions from Hodaidah. The campaign focuses to cover the health and sanitation needs of the Yemen suffering people too.

IBC will launch four mobile hospitals, coer the medical consumables and equipement needs of 10 temporary health institutions,and assist Yemen health authorities for vaccination campaigns against diarrhea and colera cases.

IDRF Canada contributes to the campaign by assisting with funds for food needs. The situation is tragic since tens of thousands of people fled from the fightings in Hodaidah dont have shelters,food,hygiene support and epidemics are spread fastly. Yemen state response for the needs of these people is very low and international support vehemently needed.
