After I graduated from Gaziantep Science High School, I completed my undergraduate program, which is International Relations, at Ege University in the year 2015.
I won the first place in TUBITAK Science Projects Competition during high school and I had the chance to visit 9 countries by participating in an international dance festival on behalf of my high school. I completed part of my undergraduate studies in the Department of Political Science and International Relations at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Poland. During my undergraduate education, I took an active role in the management and execution of various national and international social responsibility projects. I completed my master's degree in Women's Studies at Dokuz Eylül University, and as a thesis I conducted a discourse analysis on the basis of sexism of the media news written by Syrian Women. Before I started to work at IBC, I worked as a project manager in the Municipality of Madalena on the island of Pico which is one of the Azores of Portugal. In this process, I wrote and conducted projects on youth development and gender equality. I have been to 20 countries to date and all my experience has taught me how important the work in the field of civil society is. It has been my dream to work in the humanitarian field since the first day of my undergraduate studies and to contribute to this field, especially in terms of gender equality. At the beginning of 2019, I had the chance to attend the United Nations Youth Council meeting on behalf of our foundation. I am currently working as the project manager in Kilis Community Center. I am very happy with the contributions of our foundation to my personal development and career.
