With the development of civil society consciousness; I started to take part voluntarily in non-governmental organizations. First of all, I took part in the voluntary civil communities formed by the municipalities. I have tried to take an active role in this field with the belief that all people are created equal and should have dignified living, shelter, nutrition, health care and appropriate living standards. Since 2018, I have been working at the International Blue Crescent Relief and Development Foundation (IBC), which operates important projects in disadvantaged regions of the world.
First, I was involved in the Cash for Work (CFW) Project funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and jointly implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH and the International Blue Crescent Humanitarian Relief and Development Foundation (IBC). Now, I am actively continuing my duty as the Human Resources Officer of the Promotion of Economic Prospects for Refugees and Host Community in Turkey (PEP) Project.
As a Human Resources Officer in the project, even it is for the short term, I am honored to help both Syrians under temporary protection and the host community in need, to find their employment solutions. I am particularly pleased to see mostly women, economically stand on their own legs and vulnerable people who have never had any previous work experience.
Nowadays, the importance of civil society and non-governmental organizations is increasing, especially in developed countries, civil society organizations play an active role in solving a wide range of social problems. In this context, in a fair, respectful, cooperative-oriented work environment, to provide assistance to all people without discrimination and to see that our work can create miracles in people's lives, has been my most important source of motivation since the first day of I started working in International Blue Crescent Relief and Development Foundation (IBC).
